Subject: Wiring 3 JL Subs to Xtant x1001 Amp?

Hey I have a few questions for anyone that can answer them. Here they are:

1.) I have a JL 12w7 that has the single 3 ohm voice coils. I am going to be running it with an Xtant x1001 that is stable at 1,2, and 4 ohms. However it is a class D amp so I have been told these amps will run between 1 and 4 ohms with no problem. My only question is how exactly do I wire the sub? Could someone give me the exact wiring instructions that will give me the most power to my sub?

2.) What is the best way to connect all my wires to my two amps and my four external Diamond Audio crossovers? I know i dont just twist the wire and put it on there. What is the best method of doing this, what kind of connectors are the best (brands, and types).

3.) Lastly, what kind of relay would I use for running my 12 volt source in the trunk. I already have the 12 volt running off of my CD player connected to my amps, and i just split the one wire off to each amp. However where is the best place to put another 12 volt wire to connect neon lights and a bottle heater for a ZEX kit. What kind of relay would I use and where do i get one? Is installing it simple?

Please let me know about any of this, it is much appreciated.

honestly, it sounds like you are a beginner at this, and i really really really strongly reccomend getting it professionally installed, especially since you are dealling with very high quality components, all of which are nearly $1000 a piece.  Ask if you can watch during the install so next time you will have an understanding of how to do it.  Thats how most of us learned,,, by watching others.  And the installer will probably be able to make it look really good too.

not all of us learned by watching others, some of us went the route of buying it installing it and f**king it up. luckly my first install is still running without ne changes!
