New Member and I need help?

I recently purchased 2(12inch) subs Pioneer TSW1240C's but I want to know which box is best

to get them to hump and I have a Hifonics Z500d and would like advice on wiring? I would like to

build the box so what material is best to make my box out of?

Thank you in advance,

Ronnel

Make it out of MDF ( Medium density fiberboard ) at least 5/8" thick. Wire the subs in parallel to the amp and bridge the amp.

Thanks Jeff,

 I thinking my box may be 30 x 15 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 6 1/2 and sealed. My woofers say 800 watts but can

a box this size handle the bass? I currently run my highs on a Zues 4400 4channel amp so I bridge

my other Zues to that amp?

Just make sure you build the box well and use glue and silicone to seal the seams and the joints of the box. Use nails to attach the pieces together and this box should be enough to handle both the subs and whatever power you throw at it.
