blown amp or fuse?

so here it is........my "friend"....no seriously, my friend, hooked up his amps BACKWARDS!!!! ground to power, power to ground...ouch. so he calls me up and tells me this cause i am the one that made everything for him. i was gonna check the fuse, but it is a pain to get to........so before i go disasembling things. would this blow the amp? i got a couple of pics if anyone is interested.......'03 Pathfinder......2-eclipse 12s,  2-Audiobahn ACH275X (i think)....

It may have blown the fuses in the amp or the main fuse on the power line by the battery, in the future "friends don't let friends install stereo's". The amplifier may have short circuit protection circuitry, let's hope so. Good luck

Most times when connecting reversed you just blow your amp fuse. I would also check to fuse on the power line as well. (A simple mistake that i have once made when i was in a hurry)

Yea I agree you probably just blew an amp fuse so check that one

prolly blew the inline fuse, because the power attached to the ground would let the power flow extreemly well from the battery so it probably killed the inline fuse, and the amp fuse too i bet.
