need help 92 toyota tercel audio receiver

hi, i just installed a jvc kd-s680 reciever in my 92 toyota tercel (first time installing anything).  i hook up the wires like the directions told me to grounded to metal and i had to hook my battery lead to my power lead so that it would work cause the battery lead from the other stereo had no voltage on it with the car on and off. well everything works fine except i have 4 wires left from my old car stereo and when i turn the car off and back on all my sttings on the new radio arent saving can someone tell me how i can fix this pls help i have no clue what to do lol

You have to hook  up the constant wire ( YELLOW ) on the JVC receiver to the battery of the car or a constant wire on the harness which is BLUE / YELLOW, but test to be sure of this. This will fix your problem. Also, there is a RED wire on the JVC harness that needs to be hooked up to the wire that you had hooked up to the constant. You need this in order for the deck to work.
