I've got a 2003 GMC Sierra with the factory Bose system with the steering wheel controls and XM radio.  I'm trying to hook up a sub amp but the wires on the back of the radio are completely different from all other GM vehicles.  I've read that there is a seperate unit from the radio that has the speaker output wiring if so does anyone know where it is?  Thanks!

There is a seperate box for the speaker outputs, and it is either under the dash, to the right of the steering columb, or its behind the glovebox!!

Good Luck
