We need to know what make and model subs you are getting in order to suggest what would be a good amp to push them. If you have not chosen subs yet I would suggest that you do so, and then look for an amp.

Based on what i found looking the subs up on the internet, the pioneer's are 500 W peak, 150 W RMS, and the audiobahn's are 1000 W peak and 500 W RMS. With the pioneers I would suggest a JBL BP600.1. This amp will run 600 W RMS at 1 ohm, which is a perfect match. For the audiobahns, you would need 2000 W RMS at 2ohms. I don't know that you can get an amp like this for under 400, but I might be wrong. With this said, I would look at the JBL BP1200.1. You can get it for about 300 and will put 300 W RMS to each sub. The best prices I have found for these amps  are either on eBay or ikesound.com. Depends on if you like to shop on the internet or not. Good Luck.

The worst thing you can do to your subs is underpower them, what bberman1 said is correct (nice job btw) nail down you sub and then nail down the amp. If you want these big nasty subs then you also must be willing to power them properly. If you want to go in the reverse order, that's fine as well, nail down the amp and then we'll all give you recommendations on subs. What do you want to do that you belive you need 4 subs for? Are you trying to annoy the neighbourhood or do you just want some good loud sound for you tht you can listen 2, there is a drastic difference between the 2. How much real estate do you want to give up in the trunk, this is another determining factor on you choice of subs and amp. What cd are you going to use? If you have not asked these questions at a store, then the CLERK will sell you what you want instead of a sales professional selling you what you need.

well the last couple of cars that i have had i had two twelves and at first they sounded great then its like i got immune to it or it wasnt loud enough for me. i want my auror to sound real good and i dont want to have to change my sounds unless i have to. thats was my choice for going with the 4 12's. i might even conssider three but i know for a fact that it wont be 2. and the subs that i have chosen to go with is the pioneer speakers. at first i thought they were 500 watts but i found out theat they are actually 800 watts. so i got the speakers nailed down now i am just trying to get a good amp at a reasonable price that will do the job i am trying to accomplish. if by cd you mean what head unit i have the jvc kd-sh9700

I'm going to assume that was a typo I saw earlier on the model number, is it actually a tsw305c and if so it looks like a dvc sub that is rated at 400w rms (the nominal rating is what we want). What subs do you have now in what kind of box. If you want to redefine the sound you have with what you have let's talk about that as well. I would start with the box and have you ever heard of an AudioControl Epicenter? This may be a much simpler solution to what you need.

well right now i have 2 kenwood 12's that are 600 watts each. i dont remember the model number. they came out about a year or two ago. the amp i have is a power acoustic gothic series amp that is 840 watts. the audiocontrol epic center is something that i have not heard of. if there is anything that i can do to get my sound to be louder and beat harder than it does now i am open to all suggestions
