I have a 2002 Chevy trailblaer. I've probed all the wires for a sufficiant remote turn on.  but have not found one. My head unit stays on when the key is takin  out untill you  open the door, dont know if that matters, please help, thanks..

I read somewhere that you will need to tap into a hot, when ignition is on wire.  Do you know what the speaker wire color codes are for a 2002 Trailblazer non- bose headunit? I am getting ready to install a 4 channel amp and new speakers. Good luck with your install.  Jeff
