I'm getting very bad engine noise thru my stero. My power and rcas are on opposite sides of the car, i'm 100% positive my grounds for my amps are good. I'm maybe 20% positive about the headunit. I tried the ground loop thing and it didn't work. Any suggestions? Here's a picture of my setup

turn the volume down on the radio and rev the engine if you here the noise unplug rcas from the different sources.. i.e. sub amp, crossover, high amp etc until you find the source... also check the rca and power lines make sure they are not pinched too..also its unclear by the pics but what do you have the bottom two amps mounted on the chasis or something under them also make sure all the amps are grounded to the same point..... and did the rcas and power cable cross at all while routing if so seperate them...hope that does it if not just post youll get some more ideas.....
i'm running from the headunit to the amps. power lines are not pinched, the rcas possibly? bottom two amps mounted to a piece of wood. amps are all grounded to the same point, rca's and power cables are away from each other and are not parralel. i've picked the slack up on the rcas and it is still there.
Thanks for the reply! :)
Turn down your gains on the amps and also make sure that the ground that your using is not a thin piece of the trunk. It has to be the frame not the welded on pieces that hold the fenders to the trunk ( this is important ). Another thing to check for is to make sure that your using a heavy enough gauge ground wire and also try a new grounding point for the headunit ( if you ended up using the factory wire ).
