Would 2 12" solobaric L7, dual 4 ohm, subs work with a Alpine mrv-1507 amp? And if so how would i wire it to get the most power?

im not sure about the issues with power, like if the amp is good for the subs, but wiring them in a series parallel setup will give you a 4ohm setup

Almost any amp will work with any sub, it just depends on if you want to do it right or not. If I am correct this amplifier is no longer in production, I think it was tared at 150 watts rms per channel or about 600w rms in mono at 4 ohm. Now some people have run their alpine amplifiers of this series in loads below 4 ohms and they work for a little while, sometimes even quite a long time, but I do believe that it was not designed for mono operation below 2 ohms. If I am correct then I definitely would not recommend it. This amplifier based on the limited info that I found (and had time to look for) would result in drastically underpowering the subs. Would I do it, no, if I had no other choice then yes I would, but knowing full well that I may inadvertently be damaging both the subs and the amp. If you are going to proceed on this path then wire each of the subs voice coils first in series then parallel the two subs together to create a 4 ohm mono load. If I were in your shoes I would be looking for an amp that will make those subs behave properly.
