i am wondering if anyone can help me w/ a ? i had about Caps.......i want to know how to charge and discharge the cap and if it is needed....thankyou

i hook up the positive wire, then put a little lightbulb on the negative sideand touch the ground wire to the other side of the bulb until it goes out.  Then you can hook it up.   As for discharging i forget haha, its opposite some how

You can use a resistor for both. Put the resistor inline with the power wire and measure the votlage until it gets to around 12V. To discharge just put the resistor across the two terminals until it goes to 0V. Make sure that you hold it with a set of pliars or something because the resistor WILL get hot.
