Just wondering if anyone knows anything about Rainbow speakers. I believe they are pretty high end and I was wondering if they would be worth looking into for someone who doesn't compete or would it not be worth it otherwise?

Rainbow = high end? = yes. What you should look into are the speakers that sound good to you, can handle whatever types of music you listen to, can be installed properly and finally fit your budget.

Listen to them under conditions that you will playing them at. A good salesperson (not necessarily the best commission salesperson) will be able to judge right away what would be an appropriate match for you, a good installer will tell you if they can fit, can be made to fit or if you should buy another car to put the speakers in (it's all about the audio) and finally give you some more feedback on your choice of speakers.
