I don't think anyone knows how to remove this peice of sh*t system..

It's so hard why does GM do this?

Bad news....   You gotta re-wire.  Those dam monsoons sure are a pain...

Negative on that. The Monsoon amps take a speaker level input; you do NOT have to rewire the system. You will need Metra part no. VT-GMRC01 as a harness/databus interface, but other than that it's pretty straightforward. As long as the amp turn-on wire in the harness is getting power you shouldn't have a problem.
