Not at the proper store today, don't have the nec info with me. If memory is right 1.5cu. ft. +.15cu.ft. for driver displacement. Make sure you add braces to the inside of the box and allow that into the airspace allowance as well. Seal that mofo up nice and tight, make sure the baffle board is a minimum of 1" thick or the sub will rip out of the mounts.

its in a fiberglass box, the baffle is only 3/4 will i have a problem with that? theres gonna be an Alpine MRD-M500 going to it. Its test max was 605 at 14.4 so it will be powered well.

So you have a dvc 15" then right? If so good amp choice. Add another piece of 3/4" to the top of the box if you can, make sure it is glued and screwed together to keep it from rattling. These subs pressurize the ever livin snot out of a box, the first place air looks to escape is around the mounts (or weak parts of the box). Over time the physical motion of the sub, coupled with meagere screws into only 3/4" mdf will cause the sub to either come loose or rip out of it's mount. Thus the reason for doubling up the baffle board and use some good heavy screws (not philips - thieves expect them).

Yea its the DVC 15. The thing is totally air tight and glassed everywhere. It would be impossible for me to add the extra 3/4 because it is a fiberglass box but i do plan on putting the things that hold the screws in (i think they are called T-nuts) U probly know what im tlaking about. Also, there is no way for the ring to seperate because the ring kinda pops outward and i turn the box upside down then in the little kind of channel on the inside of the box between where is sub ring stops touching the fleece i poured resin. Any opinions would be appreciated. After reading your first post i went out and started adding more layers to the box too cause i deff dont want it to crack.

Layer that glass up good to a minimum of 1/4", preferably more, fill that baby up with water to check for leaks. ------------- Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
