i am tring to save money so i was thinking why cant i combine three 15 inch enclosures together. all of them are the same brand and size and air  space using deck bracing then i recover the enclosure so that it looks seamless. will my sound quailty go down or will it be just as good as an custum made box now im being told its gonna cost anywhere from 550 to 700 while i can get the three boxes all for 200 total. i already did measurements of my trunk so i know it will fit perfect         also the boxes are the r/t brand with 3/4 mdf........................thank you

Putting the enclosures together shouldn't effect the sound at all.  But do you know if the enclosures are the proper size for the speakers?  The custom enclosure can be built for the subs to give you the sound you are looking for.

You get what you pay for, build the proper enclosure for the speaekrs and your vehicle, it is the best $ you will ever spend on your system.

Enclosures are not that hard to build, you could probably build the same enclosure your shop wants $700 for around $100. If you tell us what subs you have maybe we can assist you in designing /constructing your own box

I also suggest building your own enclosure. Seperate chambers are great for bracing and incase one subs gives out or somthing of the sort. Give the model numbers and im sure we all can help you out
