Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me on this.  Today, my wife's car got broken into and stole the entire console off of her 96 Civic EX.  Well I know I can replace the console, but right now, I don't want to spend extra money on car stereo so I decided to pull the oem stereo i had off of my 99 Civic Ex from the closet.  I was wondering if anybody know of an adaptor that will plug an 99 OEM stereo to a 96-98 harness?  Any help would be appreciated.

There are adaptors made from Scosche for the 96 civic, model# HA02 and the reverse connector for the 99 OEM radio, model# HA08R. There is a miniscule chance that the plugs in the two civics are the same, I'll assume they are not based on your request.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
