When the neons are on and my car is on also how many amps are they pulling from the alt?

Look around on the package and the actual unit for amp draw? I think they would have it on it.

you can usually judge the current draw by the size of the input wire.  normal interior neon lights draw VERY little in terms of current.  most are fed by 18 ga. wire, which has very little current carrying capacity (so that tells you right away its small).

similar to flourescent lights in a house, neons draw very little juice compared to incandescent lighting...same with LED type lights....very small current draw.  I don't see it being an issue.

They can draw up to 2 amps per tube. But for a 9 inch you are probably not drawing more then 1 amp per tube.
