Hey everyone,
First post, so bear with me. I recently bought a Polk GNX124 sub for my truck, after blowing my kicker impulse 12 DVC. I have a blaupunkt PA-2100 amp that I love very much, and is rated 300W RMS (although the birth cert shows about 345RMS or so). The Polk was not all I expected, as it distorts quite easily. Brings out the slow low bass notes very nicely though. Anyway, I am returning the Polk and was looking at an Infinity 1230W , which claims 300W RMS with 1200 watt peak, so should nicely (wattage wise anyway) fit my amp. I listen to techno/rap/rock music along with some country. Quite an array I know. I was curious if anyone had thoughts on the Infinity's, I realize this particular sub is not of the Kappa series (or atleast it doesn't say it is.) which I read are highly recommened. They are on sale for 90$ which is in my immediate purchase range. I could go upto about 150$ if someone has a recommended sub that would better fit my amp. All input is greatly apprecaited. I love the site, wish I would have found it along time ago, heh.
cheers,
loon
