i have a 2000 ford f150 harley truck, i am wanting to put my eclipse tv in the dash, put my 5x7's in the doors and run my amp since mine is a dead head model.
my question is where can i get a wiring harness for my truck and also a filler piece for it?????
also will my 5x7's work in the doors?
also lastly when running my speaker wire from the amp do i run it to behind the headunit or to each speaker individually.
Try any local Car audio shop, support the local guys first then the big chains. Your best audio connection is directly to the speaker. Your stereo is only as good as the weakest connection.

Yes 5x7's will work fine, but 6.5" components are even nicer...have a look at
www.scosche.com or www.metra.com, they are a manufacturer of harnesses that will work for your vehicle. It will probably be a FD16 harness if the vehicle has a non amplified system, if it is amplified (I suspect it may be), it will probably be a combination of harnesses that should be readily available from any specialty car audio shop.

i have (2) rockford fosgate 3210. these are 10 inch and dual voice coil. they are 4 ohm and handle upto 400 watts a sub.
keep in mind that my box is sealed off between the two sides so i cannot run the subs together.
i have a rockford fosgate amp that is a 601s, this amp provide 2x150 rms @4 ohm and 300x2 rms@ 2 ohm
how should i hook it up??????
this is what i think but i want someone who knows not me just assuming, would it work if on the subs, i used speaker wire to connect the + to+ and then - to - and ran a wire from each one of the to one channel in the amp and did the exact same thing for the other amp. please let me know.
You say the subs are dual voice coil, and they're 4-ohm speakers. Is that four ohms per voice coil? If that's the case, your life just got better. Just because the two sides of your enclosure are sealed off from one another, that doesn't mean you can't wire the subs together. You can make the connections at the external speaker plugs just as easily.
If each voice coil is 4 ohms, then for each sub, wire the voice coils in series to make each sub an 8-ohm load. Then, wire the two subs together in parallel to make an overall 4-ohm load. Your RF 601s amp will put out 600 Watts bridged mono into a 4-ohm load, giving you 300 Watts per sub, which is right in their power rating.
