Ok....I am an Audio idiot....i don't know a damn thing about anything that has to do with audio...what I am doing, as many of you well know, is building a bed...what I want in the bed is 2 big subs(excelent 10's but pref. 12+), powerful amp(tight ass 600W but pref close to 800+), speakers (here's where my real "problem" is...i dont know exactly what size speakers to get)...and a head unit...i already am gonna get a power source so thats no problem...please "build" me a system, ya'know like tell me what to get for around $800...it would really help me....

You should look on ebay, you can get alot for $800. I would got with JL audio or Audiobahn subs, but thats just because ive had good luck with those. 2 audiobahn aw128t, which can handle 6000 watts, and have an alum cone and are DVC would cost about $400. Then you have to think about an amp, i would go ma audio or audiobahn or JL, 2 JL audio 500/1 amps bridged would hit very hard. Then you have to think about a box. I would have a ported box built to subs specs. Hope that helps some.

What kind of music do you listen to? Also what kind of sound do you want? Do you want something that is just loud or do you want something that just sounds good? Maybe a little of both worlds? What year make and model? Also what components are you looking to buy for $800? Just subs and an amp to drive them? Or are you looking at a whole System (front rear speakers, subs headunit and amps)?

Go with bbermans recommendations, it is the difference between a knowlegeable die hard who works in the industry vs. someone who can just give an opinion.
