this christmas i will be leaving my little island of hawaii to the east coast. out here the prices on eclipse subs are a little elevated. what kind of prices should i be able to negeotiate on the east coast for a pair of sw8122dvc

Uh, it's free day, everything is free, free day... tv ad here on Canada's wet coast. Find yourself a dealer, Eclipse can point you in the right direction to dealers in the area that you will be travelling to, send them an e-mail before they shut down for the holidays. Bberman I think is somewhere on the east coast, he may be able to find a good deal for you as well.

I'm on the West Cost ( California)  about 45 minuets from Eclipse's headquarters.

Like I said before the MSRP is 399 for the 12, here is southern California I can get that sub for 250-300 out the door with tax.
