I need some info on how to hook up three jlw3's? 12's! Does anyone know on how to hook it up?

if you bought them new, then check the instruction manual...  if not, or you already threw them away.. then go to https://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/pdfs/12W3_MAN.pdf   and that will give you the wiring diagram.  you will have to know wether they are dual 2 dual 4 or dual 6 ohm voice coils.  and you will have to have a pdf reader

Its actually my girlfriends brother that is hooking this up.  But they are 2 D 4's and 1 D 6.  I was gonna hook up it in series like in the website.  Any problems with this hook up?

YES, your subs need to be exactly the same, take the dual 6ohm back and replace with a dual 4 ohm to match the others. The subs you have does not present a stable load among themselves, current will take the path of least resistance, compare your car to with 3 17" wheels and 1 15" wheel, how will it handle and accelerate, sure it will move but not properly.
