2000 accord coupe.

what are the deepest speakers that will fit? It is 1 7/8"  from factory. Will 2 13/16"  fit?? Both are top mount figures.

You can always space the window track back as well to gain some more clearance.

No, not at all, some window tracks are held on by a single 10mm bolt on the bottom, take out the bolt, put a longer one in it's place with a spacing nut between the sheet metal and the window track, this way you can adjust the window track to where you like. I have seen some window tracks that were riveted in before, I do not think your car is this type though. Make sure to check the operation of the window while you are moving the window track backwards, you don't want it to bind at all or put excess pressure on the power window motors.

ok-- i may try that

i am going for either the Polk/MOMO 6 3/4" separates or

Alpine Rtype 6 3/4" separates.
