MTX 9500 vented? sealed?

Hey guys,

we just got our mtx 9500's in and we did a sealed and a vented box. The sealed box was absolutely horrible and i cant figure out why. The vented box was insane. Anyone been building sealed for these subs, if so what size? we tried 1.25 and it hit only a couple frequencies and everything else was garbage.

mtx says you can use either and has specs for both on their website
