Hi,

I know how to wire the amp, but having hard time getting the power cable from from outside to inside the car. I tried to find any unused factory holes, but found nothing. Can someone out there tell me if there are any unused grommets to run power cable for my amp in toyota corolla 93 or if I need to drill one?

Cheers....

ML

there is usually a spot in the upper left corner of the firewall that you can drill through, but always double check you dont want to drill through a brake booster or anything.

if it is an automatic, sometimes there is a grommet where the clutch would be.  I have also used existing grommets (hood release, brake, ...)  and just pryed the wire thru with the other wires.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. I found the grommet for brakes, but not for the hood release. I was thinking it is not a good idea to disturb the brake one as brakes are very important to run a car smoothly. So, can you tell me where the hood release grommet is?

Thanks a bunch....

Cheers....

I couldn't tell you exactly where it is. I don't know your car, those were just general places to look. It should be a matter of tracing it back though.
