Ok, have run into something I haven't run into in so long not sure I remember all the needs on this. I am installing a full audio system(cd player, amp, sub) and the cd player only has a rear RCA output. I know how to hook everything up but I forget if using that will change the fading controls of the speakers and also if the rear speakers will no longer play?? Any other advice you can give on this would be great as I haven't seen one of these in 4 years. Thanks alot.

In general, using an RCA output will not disable the built-in amps, and the fade control will work fine.  However,  be aware that if the RCA is for the rear channel and you use it to send a signal to your subs, the subs level will change with the fader.  Fade forawrd will = less sub.  You'll also need to use a low pass crossover - or one built into your amp.

Thanks it's been SO long since I've done it, everytime people want it done, I convince them on decks with sub output too. The amp does have a crossover built in. Again thanks for the help.
