I have an Autotek 400 watt 4ch Super Sport series amp.  The amp powers up fine, but when I plug in an RCA to any of the 6 on the amp, the red light comes on.  I have found that When the outer conductor from the RCA I am plugging in contacts the amp, the fault indicator comes on.  I understand this is a ground issue,  any other issues I over looked, or Ideas on correcting this.  If any Ideas to this problem could you PLEASE email me at jcdinglaz@yahoo.com

Thank you

Jason

Disconnect all of the speaker leads, then start hooking the rca's up one at a time, if the amp goes into protection with only the rca's hooked up (no speaker leads) then you have a fault with the amp. If the amp is not in protection, start hooking the speakers up one wire at a time, if the amp goes into protection, check for a speaker wire or speaker going to ground.
