2 Adire Audio Bramha 12's

can be found at www.adireaudio.com

under car audio, then drivers....

Also be sure that her cars electrical can handle the draw.  AND dont waste it on caps and extra batteries, all that still has to get charged...Go to EBAY and buy a high output ALT.  It'll save you some headaches.  Dont forget to add bigger power lines and grounds when you upgrade too.

BTW....is that 2500 RMS watts or PEAK watts, and what amp is it? please dont say audiobahn......

Seriously, good freakin' luck.  2500 W RMS will require over 200 amps of current, and that's if the amplifier were 100% efficient, which none of them are.  In a class AB amplifier, you're doing well to get 50% efficiency, so you're looking at about 420 amps of current for 2500W RMS.  A "class D" amplifier might be 75-90% efficient, but you're still looking at about 300 amps.  I'm not even talking about PEAK numbers.  If your 2500W RMS system peaks at 3500W, and you are using a 75%-efficient "class D" sub, you're back to over 400 amps for the peak draw.  In short, you're going to need a 300-400 amp alternator just to handle the RMS power, with some hefty capacitors to handle the peaks, or an even bigger alternator.

Hey man, assuming I picked up one of those Adire Audio Brahma's, where would I get an amp to run that beast at 1600 w RMS??? and 4800 Peak?? Thats insane. Not a bad price for a sub like that though.

So you want as loud as possible and money is no object?  Wait till CES in January and then look at Adire's offerings.  The CEO of Adire showed us a hint of what they have in store for one of their drivers.  This included a BL curve for it  that was perfectly flat out to 75mm one way, BL up in the 43 Tm all the way throughout that range, and he called it one of his medium throw drivers he is releasing.  This thing should prove to be an SPL monster.  So their medium throw driver will be linear over 6" both ways.
