no remote connect on precision power amp?

dunno what to do with my remote wire since there is nothing to connect it to on my precision power pcx-480 amp... i have it connected to the radio, just nowhere to connect it to on my amp. any one know what to do now?

Does your amp work with out it? if it turns on then you can just terminate the end of your turn on wire so it dosent short out. It would be just like running an after market head unit with out an amp.

Look at the terminals for the speaker outputs.  Since it's a four-channel amp, you should have two terminals.  Does one of them have holes for four wires, and the other has holes for five wires?  If that's the case, the middle hole on the five-hole plug is where you put the remote turn-on lead.  kind of a strange place for it, but that's where it is on the PCX 2-channel amps.  I'm still trying to download the owner's manual for the 4-channel models.

Found what I was looking for right after I made that last post.  Yes, the remote turn-on wire goes with the front speaker wires, in the middle terminal of the five-terminal plug.  Here's a link to your owner's manual in  a .PDF file.
