I am currently in the mist of putting together a pretty expensive sound system, other than an alarm, what are some other things i can do to prevent my system of gettting stolen?

Thanks

Keep as much of it hidden as you can, don't have manufacturer's stickers on the outside of the car, don't boom it where you park it, and use uncommon fasteners where possible.  If you use common phillips-head screws, a thief with a cordless screwdriver and five minutes could probably unmount everything.  I know there are one-way screws, but you could also use Torx fasteners or something similar.  For mounting your sub enclosure, you could use carriage bolts and put the nuts under your car.  Every little bit helps.  I had a system stolen out of a VW Jetta back in 93.  No one would have looked twice at the car, but I had these big "Linear Power" stickers on the windshield and rear window....
