Would 2 kicker comp VR 15" subs give a higher SPL in a sealed box with 1.98 on each side or a pre fab ported box?

I believe the ported boxes do produce more SPL at correct tuning.

as long as the box is no more that 3 cubic ft the ported box should be fine but  i have heard these things in a 2.5 cubic ft sealed box and they just slammed.
