This is just an FYI. Note that if you own a 1996 Toyota Avalon there are two stereo wire harnesses available from Metra. One is for an unamplified factory stereo while the other is for an amplified factory stereo. The 2003 Metra Guide does not show this option. They only list the 70-1761which is for the unamplified version. The amplified wire harness part number is 70-8112. The quick way to tell is if the car has six speakers it is amplified. Hope this helps.
