I have a Chrysler New Yorker, 1994. I recently put the system in and ran into a problem. The car originally came with an infinity system. sounded good 10 years ago, but not now...  the rear 6x9's have 4 wires. I assume there is a stupid amp or crossover of some sort, because the sound is terrible. HELP!

Dave

If the speakers have four wires going to them then the speakers have the amplifiers on them.

Speakers have individual amps on them, need to replace speakers if you plan on replacing head.
