I have a 1988 Mazda MX-6 DX with rear facing dash mounted speakers (unsure of size as of yet) and some speakers on the rear dash/package tray.  What (according to stock sizes for this vehicle) can I put (sizes) in the place of the existing ones, and what are some good suggestions about brand and what-not?  Can I get speakers mounted in the door panels (there are none there now...no hole for them)?  What can I do to get a killer sound system?  Thanks!

Save your money, If you want the best your going to have to pay for it.I took me 18 years to get my stuff I started with an 8-track in a '77 Buick Regal. Pioneer 10 watt 4x10 that I thought sounded good.
