AGHH! what can I do about it (the engine noise)its driving me crazy. So far I've tried different grounding points. At low volume its always there(I keep the EQ volume a little more than half way and use the volume on the stereo for adjustment). What else can I do?

Is this noise introduced through the wiring,ant.,stereo,eq,amps???help....

You didn't state if you have amplifiers in this system ? If you do have how many and how long are the ground wires and where did you ground ?

get rid of the EQ temporarily. Did noise go away? Is there more then 1 battery in the car? If no amps and you have a powered EQ then ditch it. Somewhere in your system there is one or more pieces of equipment operating at different voltages and/or audio RCA cables to close to power wired in vehicle. Are they run seperate? Are they good quality shielded cables?
