My friend has a 2002 Lexus RX 300. Installed in it is a 5channel amp, sub door speakers, head rest monitor and dvd player all tied up to the factory radio. He is using an FM mod so he can hear the dvd audio. He says when he watchs DVDs it sound quality is crappy.  He went into a stereo shop to try to get a noise filter thats when they told him about somthing that you hook up to the CD changer that uses relays , some good RCAs and a switch that will make the sound clearer.  He also went to mobile one and they told him something similar and wanted 130$ to hook one up for him. Is there such a thing? If so doesnt anyone know how to make one? Let me know thanks.

this is about the only way to go if you are going to retain the factory amp, you might want to look at getting an aftermarket amp to power the stock internals, you can retain the factory radio using a converter about $30 use the high pass inputs on the amp for the internal speakers and the rca inputs for the dvd player

the car is not runnign a factory amp, installed is a PPI 5channel amp running through rca convertors.
