i was wondering how much of my amp can my two l7 15 dual 4 can take. they are rated to 1kwatts rms each. i wont even get close to that but i wanted to know how much can they take so a long time playing. i got a jbl 1200.1 that put out 1200 watts rms with the gains a lil less than half way. i want to turn the gains up but not to much so my amp doesnt clip. how much more should i give them. i wont turn gains up till i get my new head unit that should come in 2morrow a pioneer p940
thanks
carlos

the l7's will handle the power from this amp no problem, this is a nice clean amp and you should have trouble, just increase you gain till you hear distortion or you amp starts clipping. then back off.you will be fine with this much power for 2 of those subs
