please help oem nissan audio

hi i am looking for any help with my oem non bose model pn-2089i cass/cd/am/fm deck it is a double din system out of an maxima and i got rid of my power antenna and all components along with it relays..... do i need a power antenna in order for my system to work because after i removed it my system went dead ...but if i turn the key to acc unplug the main harness and replug it works until i turn the key off i think it may be internal but not sure maybe the system requires a power antenna signal to work

any help with this matter would help me a lot
