Rockford Fosgate HX2 punch 12" woofers https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&item=3068695627&category=39779 OR Pheonix Gold TI12" sub woofer https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&item=3069362581&category=18803 I will be purchasing 4 of the subwoofer and they will be powered by 2 JBL 1200.1 amps. I am prefering SPL over SQ. thanks, Luke

good choice on the amp. I personally have not been to fond of fosgate subs...not really sure why. Phoenix Gold has always had a good reputation. Either way I'm sure you would be satisfied. Also look into Digital designs and Cerwin Vega for some high spl subs.

i heard a pair of those rockfords in a slot ported enclocure with 100 watts to them and they slammed!!, they are definately good subs! I haven't heard the phoenix golds tho.

Phoenix is the choice of SQ, RF is good at SPL, a friend of mine has 3 RF HX's pushed by 1000watts in a Darango, we could hear it 350+ ft away. For SPL I'd definately go with the Rockford HX2's, their suppose to be some bad mo-fo's.
