Would say 14 gauge speaker wire be over kill.  I am putting about 150-180 rms through it.  Just woundering because I can get a good deal.  Would 16 gauge be better.  They are $5 difference between the two for a hundred feet.  Another thing is, it is from home depot.  I went and saw it and it is not bad.  It is made by RCA, but do I need expencive wire.  It is for a pair of mb quart 218.61 so if the wire will make a difference i want to know.  But i dont want to buy $80 of speaker wire if i Dont need to.  I am also going to run to subs is series with 1000watts rms.  Will this wire work?

the 14 awg will work for the setup you are running...wire to your subs will be fine but bigger would not hurt you either...

its not really going to make a big difference. you'll be struggling to tell. try to get Oxygen Free Copper though, its better.
