Hi guys. Some of you helped me with my alarm install & with your help it was a success. I have a question about an MTX powered thunderform I just got off of ebay. I hooked it up but if I turn the gain up any at all, The speaker will start thumping very....well, kinda fast. The guy I got it from "says" it was working fine when he took it out of his car 2 months ago. Is there anything simple I can look for or should I consider that money out the window? Thanks for your help. You guys are great!

Double check the ground from the amp. If the thumping is at the same level and rhthym, then you may have a bad amplifier.

I'll check when I get off but I think the thumping gets louder and a little faster as you turn the gain up.
