hey can anyone tell me if my series 1 12" rockford sub is dual or single voice cone? it has two + - connections on the back.

the number on the back of it is s1-412, i got it from a friend who had it laying arond in the basement. help is needed, please!

According to Rockfords website and the model # that you provided it is a single 4 ohm voice coil. I imagine that as you see two + and 2 - terminals you assume it was a dvc, these terminals are probably wired together in parallel , this allows you to hook more subs together in an easy fashion.

i have a pair of them, but single voice coil.  i contacted rockford and they can no other info on them other than the name, what ohm the voice coil was, and how many rms it can handle...which is 150.
