You need an antenna adapter for your car in order to plug it in to your new radio. You can pick this up at any local sound shop. The pink wire should be your power antenna lead, just use a wiring harness and connect the blue of this harness to the blue of your aftermarket.

So are you stating there is no antenna behind the factory radio. If thats the case its in the right rear quarter panel along with a standard GM harness.

Your aftermarket radio doesn't have an input for the antenna? What is the make and model of the aftermarket radio?

atenna harness??
the facotry sound system has a power antenna
but i cant figure out how to connect that to my new aftermarket headunit because there isnt that usual plug that plugs into the antenna hole
and the pink wire is the wire that enables the antenna to go up and down?

Your vehicle may have a hidden module, this is where the antenna will plug into. If you have a am/fm tuner module and separate tape deck, chances are that you have this hidden module. Follow the wiring from your tuner pack, they should lead to the hideaway module with the antenna plugged into it. Altenatively, follow the antenna line from the antenna itself.
