Weird Sound, soundstream amp

Hi, I just finishing installing my new system which is 1000W rms, and A soundstream amp for the mids and highs, The problem is, Every time I press the Brake pedal just a little bit, It feels like it click in the speakers, same thing when I go from P to R ( my car is automatic)

And I dont know what is the problem,, Does anybody can help me..

Im running 2 gauge from my battery to the trunk , then 4 gauge to my amps...

Did you route the power or preamp cables next to anything giving off noise? Is everything grounded properly? Check these things.

from the battery side, i run the turn on wire and the power wire, and from the other side, i run the Rca for the subs and mid and highs..

Swap your rca cables side to side, if the speakers make this sound on the right side of the vehicle and not the left, I would be very suspect of the amp. If the amp makes no noisy sounds on the right and still on the left, I would be suspect of the cd player and or the rca cables or where they are run. Run a temporary rca cable to verify this.

Where did you ground the amp to and in what vehicle is it in?

you should actually be running your remote (turn on) wire on the side of the RCA's

Technically, no, you should run the remote turn-on with the power.  As for your noise, I'd suspect a ground problem.  Run a 16 guage or better ground wire from the headunit to the amp ground.  Where you grounded your amps may be the cause as well.  You don't want to share the same ground point as the tail lights, which is what it sounds like to me.  Sharing the ground with these might explain the "pop" when your brake lights or reverse lights power on.  Ground your amps directly to the floor where possible.  Don't use a seat bolt- just make a new hole, clean it thoroughly to bare metal, and use a star washer.  See if that helps.

why not the remote with the rca's? and does it matter what gauge remote wire you can use?! cause i onced used 10 or 12 gauge for the remote...

The remote on lead, regardless of size still carries current and voltage, thus radiates noise that can be inducted into an rca cable. It is usually best to run it separate from the rca cables, especially if you wire in a relay to drive more than one amp and the relay is mounted up front. A 16 or 18 gauge wire is more than enough to drive 3 sometimes 4 amplifiers or processors. The cd player usually can only drive this many before a relay becomes necessary. While the line may carry 12 volts, it has a fairly low current output from the cd player. Do you get noise all the time if you run it with the rca's, no, but it is good pratice to do it right the first time.

Look, this is my setup, i have a pioneer premier DEH-p840MP and a graphic equalizer Pioneer too, which has three outputs, sub, front and rear, Im running two gauge Rockford fostage power wire to the trunk and 4 gauge rockfoer fostage to the capacitor (threee capacitor, each one to each one) and im running the rca which are not that expensive I bought it in ebay for like $25.00 for the three RCA's. and from the capacitors to the amp.. My amps are two bazooka's ELA300.1 and One soundstream Edge series for my mids and highs, and my subs are the new Pioneer Premier the SPL series, The competition series, The car is a mercedes 190e, I upgrade the alternator to a 200amp and i got a yellow Top optima battery... I ground it, to a good metal .... I dont know what could be the proble,., What do you guys think... The RCA???

1.  How far away is your ground from the tail light ground or tail lights themselves?

2.  How Long is your ground cable?

3. Did you scrape away any paint around the ground ring terminal?

4. Do your RCA's Run alongside a computer, or signal wire from shifter?  (if you're running your RCA's up the driver's side, try it up the passneger side.  It may be that the break light switch (on the pedal) or the reverse light switch (on the shifter) is giving off a small current that your RCA's are picking up.  And if you have a floor shifter, the proximity to the RCA's may be very close to the Shifter itself, causing a problem.  Try an inline noise filter, copper sheilding, twisted RCA's (if you have two sets, twist them together, or buy higher quality ones) or re-routing the rca's.  dry fitting the RCA's (keeping the RCA's above the carpet, so you can re arrange them and try to reproduce the sound at the same time can help you determine the source, if it is indeed the RCA's) ~Phew.......quite a thought in there..........

Im going to try tomorrow running it one pair outside of the car to see what happenss............and I will disconnect the ground from my taillights to see if that is causing the pop when i press the brake pedal....
