I have a Visonik (VM70iD) 7" wide screen hooked up up to a Visonik (V68DVD) DVD/CD player in a 1994 Toyota Camry. I occasionally get a clipping sound, while playing DVD/CD's ONLY, when I press my brake pedal in the vehicle.

I have tried to re-gound the units and tape all audio/video cables that could touch metal, but the problem still occurs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

well you can try and connect your power wires away from the fuse panel in the car and by not using the factory wiring at the radio(run your own power wires directly to the battery or to the ignition switch).

If this does not work(i think it may) then find the relay that switches on when the brake is pressed and find the coil wires off the relay place a diode between them,this should stop it. Make sure you observe polarity and connect the diode accordingly.This method stops brake pop almost always and it should do something for you too.

What kind of car is this?? Where di dyou connect power wires to?? Where is your ground(is it on a factory ground?)

These products are in a 1994 Toyota Camry, and I'm currently using the factory ground and 12V for both units.

Take it off factory ground use the body of the car!!!
90 percent chance your problem will be solved.
See what happens when you do that if problem not solved run the power wires to the ignition switch,you have to avoid factory wiring and grounds as noise is caused there.

Thanks for the suggestions, as this has been a pain in the tail especially when watching DVD's

No problem use these suggestions and you should be fine!!

In the future try not to use factory wires to prevent problems like this .Good luck
