takin out the stock head unit everything goin smoothly except one thing so far. the wire harness adapter as well as the stock strereo has a wire for a dimmer. however the plug for the stereo i have doesn't have a wire for a dimmer, soley illumination. does this mean that the head unit i bought doesn't support a dimmer? or so i simply hook up the illumination and dimmer to the same connection . . . but that doesn't make sense because it would have constant power and not have the possibilty of dimming. post and lemme know plz THANX A BUNCH

Its just that your aftermarket Head Unit dosn't have the dimming option, simple as that.
