well my fried from work has a 88 jaguar xj6 or something like that and his power antenna broke and i got him one of ebay. my question is that if the antenna cable in the back has the same plug as the other one and if not will i have to get new cable to run from the headunit back and where can i get that cable if i have to localy if not where on the net. thanks in adv

No, the harnesses are not a universal fit. Unless the antenna you ordered was specifically for his vehicle, you'll either need to find a pinout for his harness, or test the wires with a multimeter to duplicate their function. Then simply jumper the leads from his harness to the harness on the new power antenna.
