Is it possible to power a pair of 6.5 inch speakers using the wiring intended for the 3.5 speakers in a car..... the speaker... model # pioneer TS-A1664

I din't know s#%$, dont act like it... and sure as f*&$ gonna try and learn it
If you are using the factory Deck, you are only sending like 5 watts to each speaker. The wiring for the speakers will be fine because you are not increasing the power being sent to the speakers. What kind of car and were the 3.5 inch speakers the factory speakers?

the wiring is fine, from possible rumor. i have heard you can only get about 18watts of claen power through stock audio wiring, a.k.a 16 gauge thats why most amplify their internals as well using 12 gauge wiring direct from the amp

I think the crappola wiring going to the factory speaker location isnt any bigger then 18 AWG.
Well, the factory wire running to each speaker is more than likely 18 awg. You can run the pioneer deck with this wiring. The deck is putting out around 20 w rms and 50-60 peak. you will never reach the peak wattage so your wiring should be fine. 18 awg can handle the 20 watts you are running from the pioneer deck to the pioneer speakers.
F.Y.I You are not getting the best possible sound from your speakers becasue they are underpowered......I would guess you should be running a constant 35-50 watts to each speaker. If you want better sound buy an amp that puts out like 50 watts rms.
