HI, Guys , Im having problem with some noise coming through my speakers, Even with the volume at 0 you can hear kind of loud the Hiss... I have a pioneer Premier deh-p840mp and a Pioneer deq-9200 EQ. and I have ground it to the Chasis, not to the wire coming from the harness/.. What could be the problem, or could i do to solve it...

The DEQ-9200 is a very sophisitcated unit but it is also known for being noisy. If you have a gain mis-match it will introduce unacceptable levels of high frequency hiss. Are you in "pro" or "standrad" mode? I suggest you put it into standard more and go through the setup calibration procedure (as detailed in the owners manual) again to ensure your levels are correct. If set up correctly, this unit can be great. If set up incorrectly, this unit can destroy the sound of your system.

Both in Pro mode or Std, mode i still hearing the hiss, but I change some setting in the Pro mode and It reduce the hiss, so now I think the hiss is normal... ....... I was told this Eq was known for being noise before i bought, but now its fine....

try adjusting your high level controls on your head unit to 0 if you have any adjustments before the eq it could cause distortion or hissing
