I listen to ONLY rock and I'm wanting pretty much the best possible sound. I've already purchased the front and rear speakears that best match my taste, and I'm working on the other essentials. After visiting various places, here's what I'd like to have in my car:
Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9813
Amplifier: Alpine MRV-F450
Subwoofer: JL Audio 10" <-- Need help, see below
Frnt Spkr: Focal 165A
Rear Spkr: Infinity Kappa 63.5i
What I'm curious about, is if this Amp will be able to support all four speakers and, say the JL Audio 10W6v2 well? If not, what would you recommend? I'm not looking to change what I have above aside from my Amp and Sub if necessary (open to other SQ sub suggestions, but I've heard that JL is really good for SQ).
Let me know!
Thanks,
-Brian

The 10w6v2 comes with dual 4 ohm voice coil. With this, you can wire it to run 2 ohms or 8 ohms. Your amp is 4 ohm stable, meaning that it would damage the amp to run it at 2 ohms and it would only put out 100 watts RMS at 8 ohms. Personally, I would suggest buying 2 amps. Use one for the speakers and a separate amp for subs. I would try to find a class D amp. It will be 1 channel specifically designed for subs. A few that come to mind that would work well with that sub would be a JBL BP300.1, or possibly the BP600.1 or the Alpine MRD-M500. That sub is rated at 400 watts RMS, so look into my suggestions, or try to find an amp that is 2 ohm stable that pushes about 400 watts RMS. Oh, JL Audio also has a 500/1 too.

I definitely reccomend JL's 500/1. Also look at Rockford Fosgate's Power 351M. Also an amp dosn't have to be class D to be a mono sub amp. The Rockford is an A/B. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-YImPuWXNW7s/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&cc=01&g=130&id=essential_info&i=575351M https://www.jlaudio.com/amps/5001.html
