I am personally a fan of power acoustik and that is what I run in my Explorer I've got 2 FUBR 10's, soon to be 4 just ordered two more and a quad box. I'm just waiting on shipping. And a LT series 1920 amp. It sounds very good but I was just wondering what everybody elses opinion about power acoustik was.

Power Acoustik is a huge Korean company, they have a very broad base in this industry and make some entry level product and some mid fi product, with their acquisition of Soundstream, they are also now a serious competitor in the high end audio circles. These guys have some deep pockets and it shows with how their product lines have expanded and how they have brought a really good American company on the brink of bankruptcy back to the well repected brand that it once was.

I agree. PA used to be crap, but in recent years, their quality has improved. Maybe it is some of the SoundStream attitude rubbing off. Now if only they would bring back the 'Lil Wonder 4 amp...

i like power acoustik. yeah in the past they were garbage...but their most recent series of amps and subs have been very good. I have a A1700D that ive had for a year and a half. this amp is rated at 1200RMS at 1ohm, its a monoblock. in a year and a half, it has never cut out...doesnt make my subs distort...and never has overheated or anything. I love that amp...it has also won me many trophies at SPL competitons and the TN state record last year with MECA. I run two Atomic 15's which is another company that used to suck but now they make really good stuff. my Jeep is bangin!
